Ballina Optometry is a 40 year old independent practice, located in beachside Ballina.
We are seeking an experienced Optical Dispenser, available between Mondays and Fridays to join our small team on a casual, or part-time basis.

We are looking for an individual who has superior verbal and non verbal communication skills with personal presentation that is appropriate for a front of house role. Patience, care and empathy are requirements for this position, with an emphasis on excellent customer service as you assist all clients with confidence and respect.

To be fit for this position, you must have retail sales experience, a positive attitude and the ability to work well within a team as you support the optometrist and admin staff.
Sunix practice management system experience is preferred, however, training will be provided if you hold experience in the optical language.

This role requires:
• Online ordering
• Edging & fitting of lenses
• Pre-testing for the optometrist
• Some administrative aspects and
• All-important frame selections ,discussion of lens options and repairs and fittings.
