Peep Optical is a boutique independent optometry practice known for its eclectic collection of fashion eyewear. Located in the heart of the Yarraville Village, surrounded by a strong community of local shoppers, we pride ourselves on providing great customer service to a loyal following of westsiders.

At Peep, we focus on high end handmade labels from around the world, representing many brands that do not have Australian distribution, to bring a uniquely curated collection to our clients.

We pride ourselves in helping our clients make great, stylish eyewear choices and opening their eyes to a wider world of options beyond the norm.

And as of now, we are looking for our next superstar optical dispenser with strong retail and organisational skills to join our expanding team.

The Role:

- Senior optical dispenser, previous optical experience required
- Full time (part time may be considered for the right candidate)
- Assisting in practice management tasks, to ensure efficient workflow and processing of appointments, contact lens and spectacle orders, management of inventory
- Applying sales and dispensing skills in a confident and assured manner to create an exceptional customer experience from start to finish


Working amongst a small and tight knit team, we are looking for a team player who is flexible and able to take initiative, and perhaps bring some new skills to the practice (social media, graphic design, website know-how, photography?).

Experience with high-end eyewear is a bonus, as is a Certificate IV in optical dispensing.

The ideal candidate would have a genuine interest in long term employment. The opportunity to progress to a managerial position and to travel to international trade shows may be available in future for the right candidate.

No late nights required. Our hours are Tuesday to Fridays 10-6pm and 10-4pm Saturdays.
