We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Optical Assistant/Dispenser to join our dynamic team. If you have a passion for working with children and a strong background in sales, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. Experience in dispensing is desirable, but we are open to training the right candidate who is eager to learn and grow with us.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients of all ages
• Dispense and fit eyewear with precision and care
• Operate a manual vertometer with confidence
• Use Sunix soft ware for efficient patient management
• Work closely with our Optometrists and Dispensers to support vision therapy and myopia management
• Contribute to the positive, fun, and supportive atmosphere within our team

Qualifications & Skills:
• Certificate IV in Optical Dispensing is an advantage, but not essential
• Experience with a manual vertometer is preferred
• Strong sales experience is essential
• Ability to work effectively with children and patients of all age groups
• Flexibility to cover additional days when team members are on leave

Work Hours:
• Wednesday & Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• Alternating Saturdays: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Flexibility: Ability to work additional days to cover leave as needed

Bayside Eyecare is a thriving pediatric optometry practice with a strong focus on myopia management and vision therapy. We cater to patients of all ages, with a particular emphasis on working with children. Our dedicated team is passionate about providing exceptional care in a fun and collaborative environment.

Currently, our team consists of 3 part-time Optometrists, 1 full-time Dispenser, and 3 part-timeDispensers and Assistants.
