The Opportunity
George & Matilda Eyecare are seeking an operations specialist to support our Northern NSW (Central Coast to the Qld Border) practices in a Regional Manager role. In this role you will support, develop & grow the practices in your region as well as contribute to the national operations strategy. Reporting directly to the COO, you will:
• Lead by example to promote the business’ vision, characteristics and overall growth
• Drive sales and improve the customer experience and the team’s performance
• Coach and develop practice managers, partners and their teams to achieve their targets, increase levels of leadership, productivity and business effectiveness
• Support all recruitment and HR activities in the region, including partnering with the national HR team to train, develop and manage the performance of your team
• Support the onboarding of new practices to George & Matilda Eyecare community as our community continues to grow
• Execution of national business initiatives
• Drive continuous improvement in all operational processes and more…
What will you bring to the role?
You will be an experienced Business or Operations Manager with a proven ability to influence change in a multi-site role. You will also possess:
• At least 3 years’ experience in a multi site role within the retail industry
• Strong financial acumen (ability to read, understand and impact financial levers)
• Exceptional communication skills (written & verbal)
• People management and recruitment experience
• Experience leading and implementing change activities
• Tertiary qualifications in business and / or relevant discipline will also be highly regarded
