We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified Optical Dispenser to support our team, based in Kempsey on a full-time basis including monthly Saturday mornings.

You will possess a certificate IV in optical dispensing and have a distinct focus on fashion and premium lenses. You possess excellent knowledge of computer use and are adaptable to learn various internal software programs including Optomate.

Your duties will include but not be limited to:
• Ensuring high-level customer experience and service for our patients
• Have confidence in providing fashion advice to help our patients look and feel their best
• Provide lens recommendations & frame adjustments
• Remote ordering of lenses and final checking and fitting of lenses
• Pre-testing for optometric consultations
• Engage with optical labs and various suppliers
• Repairs of spectacles
• General administration
• Provide solutions to patients' visual needs
• Work with the practice manager to ensure smooth operations

Skills and experience:
You are a friendly and personable qualified Optical Dispenser who has a keen eye for fashion and a passion for delivery of customer experience with an excellent knowledge of lenses. You will possess technical skills to complete your optical dispensing duties.

You must also possess the following skills to be considered:
• Exceptional customer service skills including great telephone manner
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Excellent computer competency
