Marchon Eyewear is a market leading provider of Optical products and services to the Optometry industry and retail stores throughout Australia and NZ. We are a wholly owned subsidiary of VSP Global with operations across the world, but here in Sydney you will be working in a close knit team of just over 60 people.
The Role
Marchon Eyewear loves optical products and we import and distribute some of the very best in the world including Nike, Calvin Klein, Lanvin, Salvatore Ferragamo, Lacoste, Dragon, and Longchamp. The optical side of our business VSP Optics is proud to provide the best vision possible through category-leading lenses and enhancements.
Commencing immediately, we are seeking a customer focused, energetic and enthusiastic individual to join our Customer Support Team based in Banksmeadow
This role is varied with main responsibilities including but not limited to:
Answering a high volume of calls from customers professionally and promptly
Resolving customer queries relating to products
Processing customer orders received by phone, fax and email
Supporting our sales team
Liaising with internal departments on a regular basis
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
Being a positive team player with a 'can-do' attitude and a readiness to assist within different areas of the organisation
A willingness to learn
Previous experience in a customer sales support based role
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Excellent computer and data entry skills
Attention to detail, using initiative and common sense
Commitment and dedication
An ability to work in a team environment
An ophthalmic, optical or a dispensing background is desirable
The position will require you to work Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm. Possibility of a hybrid set up.
