My client is looking for an Assistant Store Manager for their Optometry Practice in Maroochydore. This is a career opportunity for a motivated, intelligent, well-groomed person who has the desire to grow in their career. You will need to have supervisory or assistant manager experience in a retail environment and a desire to move up the ladder in your career.

About the role:
You will be given the role to assist in the supervision of the day to day operations, staff performance and manage up to ten team members on any given day. (Don’t worry, they are all professionals and know their jobs well). You will report directly to the Store Manager and work closely with the Store Directors and team in order to maximise the performance of the store.

To be successful in this role you will need the following attributes:
* Previous experience in optics is preferred, but if you have management or supervisory experience in a retail environment, we would like to talk to you
* The ability to organise the daily operations of the store
* Coach, train and develop the retail dispensing team
* Leadership skills to motivate and develop your team
* Drive the team deliver exceptional customer service
* Oversee and manage the store's performance to targets
* Staff management and assisting with recruitment

This is a full time 38 hour per week role with some weekend and late nights involved. We can make sure that you get two days off consecutively so that you can manage your work/life balance. This is an amazing opportunity for someone who is career driven and is looking for a new challenge.
