Sales Support Administrator

The Position and Essential skills:
To be successful for this position you will need to be customer focused and a supportive team player with an interest in creating sales opportunities both over the phone and through in office created initiatives. The role is majority non-customer facing, however will involve attendance at industry tradeshows.
• Customer focused position - must have a professional and happy phone manner.
• Assisting customers through placing orders, product enquiries, and resolving issues.
• Upsell and make product recommendations to customers (Product training will be provided).
• Act as a sales support consultant during inbound and outbound calls.
• Performing data entry tasks for sales figures, metrics, and other relevant information and maintaining an organized and accessible filing system.
• Build, maintain, and manage relationships with customers to support their product needs.
• Supporting the Customer Service, Sales and Marketing team.
• Handling administrative duties for the company and its management team.
• General office ad hoc duties - processing customer orders, maintaining customer sales records.
• 12+ months experience in a similar role required.
• Optical experience preferred, but not essential.
• Willing to travel and attend industry tradeshows.
