2026 ODA Fiji Outreach Project
Optical Dispensers Australia (ODA) is heading to Fiji in July 2026 to provide much needed eyecare and glasses to communities within remote villages.

EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST TO JOIN OUR 2026 PROJECT AS A VOLUNTEER ARE NOW OPEN!
Fiji is a stunning holiday destination in the South Pacific and home to 936,000 Fijians. Unfortunately what many people don't realise is that it has one of the most underfunded health care systems in the world and approximately 40% of the population live below the poverty line. Since beginning this project in 2024, ODA has provided vision screening to approximately 2,400 people and dispensed over 1,100 pairs of glasses via mobile clinics. The work of our Volunteers from Australia and New Zealand was conducted alonside Opticare - The Eye Clinic Fiji and Christian Helps Fiji.
With more work to be done, ODA Members are invited to apply to join us on another international outreach trip to the Fiji Islands in July 2026. This is the third year running for this project and places are strictly limited. Applications…
