Artisan Frame Making Workshop

Join us for this exclusive 'ODA Members Only' workshop and experience a day in the life of an Artisan Frame Maker.

Participants will begin by selecting their preferred acetate colour and frame shape. Your chosen design template will then be custom-sized based on your individual facial measurements. You’ll be introduced to the tools of the trade, safety procedures and each stage of the frame-making process before being guided through hand-cutting, filing, shaping and sanding your own acetate frame front. Participants can choose a rough, matte or polished finish for their frame.

Once your frame front is complete, you’ll also have the opportunity to create your own piece of jewellery using the remaining acetate to make a matching ring.
