You will need to complete 3 hours of online videos and multiple choice quizzes (in your own time) before attending the practical session at 2pm on Thursday. 

First Aid HLTAID011 & CPR Course HLTAID009

Optical Dispensers Australia is pleased to be hosting nationally accredited First Aid and CPR training on June 20th in Sydney.

The 3 hour face-to-face practical event will form part of a blended delivery course and will take place in the NSW Optometry Australia training room. Anyone is welcome to register - ODA Members will save 10% off the registration fee at checkout.

Delivered by 'First Aid Coach Group Australia P/L,' the blended course means all participants will complete approximately 3 hours of online training prior to the practical component. After successfully completing the training, all participants will receive their nationally recognised certificate from 'First Aid Coach Group Australia P/L' the following business day via email.

• Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation CPR & Defibrillator
• Provide Basic Emergency Life Support
• Fractures and dislocations
• Burns and scalds
• Head, chest and spinal injuries
• Fainting and unconsciousness
• Bandaging techniques
• Chocking
• Asthma & Anaphylaxis
• Poisoning, bites, stings and much more!

 Assessment 

• Online videos & multiple choice exam
• Practical first aid & CPR demonstrations / skills assessments
