About The Speaker: 

Tanya Verrenkamp is a qualified optical dispenser, completing her Cert IV in Optical Dispensing in 2005. She began her career with an independent optometrist in Ballarat working as a receptionist, where she travelled back and forth to Melbourne to complete short courses on eye diseases and how the eye works. Tanya's job has given her opportunities galore. She worked in the Northern Territory, where she received her first promotion - Optical Dispenser to Store Manager. After weaving her way through the profession and continually growing her skills, Tanya is currently the Regional Manager for George and Matilda in Victoria, South Australia, and Western Australia.
