Dr Sue Silveira's initial qualification is in paediatric Orthoptics and she has worked extensively in the NSW public hospital system and in vision screening programs. Sue previously held an academic position with the University of Sydney, in the School of Orthoptics. She currently holds a conjoint academic position with Macquarie University and is the Course Director for the Master of Disability Studies. Sue teaches in the areas of vision impairment and disability and is also a research fellow with the NextSense Institute.
