About the Role:
This is a varied role where no two days are the same. You'll be an important part of creating an exceptional patient experience—from welcoming patients through to helping them choose eyewear they'll love.
You'll work alongside our optometrists using the latest technology while also helping us grow our presence in the community through marketing and social media.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist patients in selecting frames and lenses that suit their lifestyle, vision and personal style
• Deliver outstanding customer service and build lasting patient relationships
• Perform frame adjustments, fittings and collections
• Manage orders and liaise with lens and frame suppliers
• Maintain accurate patient records and administrative tasks
• Assist with merchandising and keeping our frame displays looking their best
• Create and contribute to social media and marketing content
• Help promote new technology, products and services offered by the practice
• Support the team in delivering an exceptional patient journey from beginning to end
About You
You'll be someone who genuinely enjoys working with people and takes pride in providing exceptional service.
You'll ideally have:
• Qualification as an Optical Dispenser or previous optical industry experience (preferred but not essential)
• A willingness to learn—we're happy to train the right person
• Confidence using computers and new technology
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• A positive, proactive attitude
• An interest in fashion, premium eyewear and brands
• Creativity and confidence contributing to social media and marketing
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a close-knit team
