We’re looking for someone to join our Team!
Ongoing training and support provided.
Do you love helping people, enjoy fashion and technology, and want to work in a modern independent practice where patient care comes first? Northgate Eye Care is looking for an enthusiastic, organised and motivated team member to join our growing practice. We’re looking for someone who is open to learning, happy to consider a new career direction and wants to use their great people skills to shine. Whether you are qualified or not, if this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you!
About the Role:
This is a varied role where no two days are the same. You'll be an important part of creating an exceptional patient experience—from welcoming patients through to helping them choose eyewear they'll love.
You'll work alongside our optometrists using the latest technology while also helping us grow our presence in the community through marketing and social media.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist patients in selecting frames and lenses that suit their lifestyle, vision and personal style
• Deliver outstanding customer service and build lasting patient relationships
• Perform or learn to do frame adjustments, fittings and collections
• Manage orders and liaise with lens and frame suppliers
• Maintain accurate patient records and administrative tasks
• Assist with merchandising and keeping our frame displays looking their best
• Create and contribute to social media and marketing content
• Help promote new technology, products and services offered by the practice (with full training)
• Support the team in delivering an exceptional patient journey from beginning to end
About You
You'll be someone who genuinely enjoys working with people and takes pride in providing exceptional service.
You'll ideally have:
• Previous experience is great but not essential as we will provide training
• A willingness to learn
• Confidence using computers and new technology
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• A positive, proactive attitude
• An interest in fashion, eyewear and brands
• Creativity and confidence contributing to social media and marketing
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a close-knit team
Why Join Northgate Eye Care?
At Northgate Eye Care, we're passionate about providing personalised eye care that combines clinical excellence with genuine care and service. We invest in the latest diagnostic technology and premium vision solutions, while creating an environment where patients feel supported throughout their eye health journey.
When you join our team you'll enjoy:
• Working in a modern, independent practice that values quality over volume
• Exposure to the latest eye care technology and premium optical products
• Opportunities to learn, develop and grow your career
• A supportive and collaborative team environment
• The chance to make a real difference in the lives of our patients every day
If you're looking for more than "just a job" and want to build a rewarding career in a practice that genuinely cares about its patients and team, we'd love to hear from you.
