We are a busy, well-established optometry practice looking for a friendly and motivated Optical Dispenser / Receptionist to join our team.

This is a varied and rewarding role where you will work closely with our optometrists and team to provide excellent service and help patients find eyewear that suits their vision and lifestyle.

About the Role

Your responsibilities will include:
・Welcoming patients and managing front-of-house reception
・Booking appointments and managing the appointment schedule
・Assisting patients with frame styling and lens selection
・Fitting and adjusting spectacles
・Ordering lenses and frames and tracking jobs
・Processing payments, Medicare and health fund claims
・Providing outstanding customer service and patient care

About You

We are looking for someone who:
・Enjoys working with people and providing excellent customer service
・Has a friendly, positive and professional manner
・Has strong attention to detail and organisational skills
・Works well both independently and as part of a team
・Optical dispensing experience is highly regarded, however we are happy to provide training for the right person with the right attitude.
