National Optical Care are a community of optometry practices that are passionate about empowering eye care excellence. We recently merged with George and Matilda, leveraging the combined expertise of our practice community with strong supplier relationships to deliver the very best in patient care, creating opportunities for career development.

We are looking for driven Part time Optical Assistant/Dispenser available Monday, Tuesday Friday and Saturday to support our specialised practice on a 20-30 hour contract depending on availability.

About the Role:
◦ Guide patients in selecting frames and lenses suited to their needs
◦ Provide expert advice on lens technologies, coatings and vision solutions
◦ Basic workshop tasks e.g adjustments, repairs and quality control
◦ Administrative duties such as appointment book management, banking, entering stock and reporting
◦ Maintain a tidy practice environment to ensure a positive overall patient experience

About you:
◦ Excellent customer service and communication skills, both in person and over the phone
Cert IV dispensing qualification desired but not essential
◦ Passion to help others
◦ Out of the box thinker to solve complex problems
