Anand Optical Care is looking for a qualified Optical Dispenser to join our growing team at our Werribee location.

We are seeking a friendly, professional and customer-focused person who enjoys providing excellent patient care and has a genuine passion for the optical industry.

About the Role

This is a part-time or casual position, with flexible hours for the right candidate.

Your responsibilities will include:
・Providing professional and friendly customer service
・Dispensing prescription eyewear and assisting customers with frame and lens selection
・Taking accurate measurements and interpreting optical prescriptions
・Adjusting, fitting and repairing spectacles
・Assisting with frame and lens product recommendations
・Processing orders and liaising with optical laboratories and suppliers
・Maintaining a high standard of store presentation
・Supporting the day-to-day operation of the practice
・Building strong and lasting relationships with our customers

About You

We are looking for someone who:
・Holds a Certificate IV in Optical Dispensing – essential
・Has experience working in an optical practice or retail environment
・Has excellent communication and customer service skills
・Is confident with spectacle dispensing, measurements and frame adjustments
・Is reliable, professional and well presented
・Has a positive attitude and enjoys working as part of a small team
・Can work independently and take initiative
・Is passionate about providing a high level of patient care
